I am a good writer but I am an even better thinker with a great understanding of branding and marketing.

This means that it's not just about the words for me. When tasked with headlines, taglines, brand stories or campaigns, my approach is to tear the brand apart (of course, not literally) and understand the various components that make it run.

I also take time to understand the target audience, their needs, experiences, goals and even the language they use.

I then determine how best to use words to amplify the brand's message or big idea and make customers feel emotionally connected to the brand.
